Above is the Gantt chart that I put forward for myself at the start of the project. It also shows the time table that I did actually do as well. Below is a link to the full chart.

GANTT CHART AND SELF ASSESSMENT
This page shows the Gantt chart that I set my self at the start of the project and how my time was actually spent as well as my self assessment of the project.
I found this project very challenging as there were several mechanical/technical problems that needed solving and I don't see myself as very good at solving mechanical issues. This being said I think that I tackled the problems to the best of my abilities, including the equations and technical side of the reverse engineering exercise.
The CAD models produced where potentially more helpful than the prototypes I made to visually see what the product looked like but also to see the inner workings of the product. I think this project as greatly advanced my Solidworks skills. Another positive of this project has been the manufacturing poster. I felt that I went into good detail to justify the process I had chosen and that it was presented in a professional and attractive way. Along with the poster I think that my presentation for the exhibiton and graphics has been of very good standard too.
Unfortunately this year I dont think my prototypes where spectacular. They did what they needed to do, but from a personal point of view I am a little dissapointed that my works like prototype was so basic. I've learnt that it is better to have very very basic electronics in a model as even though they may not do anything they can still enhance it greatly. I've learnt that I should be scared of trying to solder a circuit etc. However due to the electrical complexity of this product I think it would have taken a considerable amount of more time to even begin to get an understanding into how it would properly work.
This module was definitely difficult and I found it hard to produce prototypes of great complexity due to the demands of the product and my own knowledge, however overall I felt I managed time well and that the technical data was of good quality and shows that this would be a viable product if it were to go to market.
