CUSTOM GUITAR

 

For my GCSE project my teacher said there was no brief to follow and that we were free to design and make what we liked. In the first week I was struggling for inspiration; all my peers were doing products such as shelves, tables or kitchen units of some sort. I sat there and thought to myself...how boring. I decided I would do something fun and challenging. I have a passion for music and play guitar myself so I decided to make a working electric guitar! This project was a great experience as there was a large technical side to this product, such as the positioning of the pick ups and the neck positioning to get the correct string tension and tone.
