ALLEGRO - IMMOBILITY AND FALLS AMONG AN AGEING POPULATION

For the second year of my university studies I looked at the ageing population, particularly how weak leg muscles cause immobility and falls.

The Allegro design improves leg muscle strength, particularly the Quadriceps group through isotonic contractions. The floor based piano game operates by users pushing piano keys down using their feet. The keys light up in sequence and allow a group of users to play a song.
